UPDATED REHEARSAL SCHEDULE - VERSION 3 (1/9/2012)

DOWNLOAD THE SCHEDULE HERE

Version 3 of the schedule is now out. (note the link has changed) Hopefully this one will stick better. Since 4 hours are being lost this week in order to allow for more exam prep. You will be making it up after exams are over (actually only an hour of it).

Most of the changes are simply in the acting work from 1/24 thru 2/14.

1/26 - Pay close attention to the big change (both content AND time length AND call schedule)

I am assisting with auditions at Wood MS on 1/24 and 1/25 so that is why there is no rehearsal 1/24 and 1/25 is just Olivia and Vivi working with Mr. Johnson.

Hopefully this will calm some nerves and make it so we can hit the ground running right after exams are over.

WHAT THIS DOES MEAN IS THAT I HIGHLY EXPECT AS MUCH OF YOUR LINES OR LYRICS TO BE MEMORIZED AS POSSIBLE BY THE TIME WE START AFTER EXAMS. I can not stress it enough that if you just get them memorized and out of the way now it will make the rest of this process go much smoother.

Another note about those who didn't receive Scripts or copies of the music CD's will follow shortly.

- Mr. Tobiassen

SPRING MUSICAL AUDITIONS

Auditions for the Spring Musical "Cinderella" will be held December 6th (Tuesday) and 7th (Wednesday) from 3 to 5pm.  Please prepare a monologue in dramatic format ranging from 30 to 60 seconds.  Also, please prepare a vocal piece (16 to 32 bars or 30 to 60 seconds). Mr. Johnson will be on hand to sight read play on piano for those who choose to bring music and not sing a capella.

NEITHER THE MONOLOGUE NOR THE VOCAL PIECE MAY BE FROM "CINDERELLA".

Please also be prepared to cold read from a portion of the script if asked.

There will also be a rhythm/dance section to the audition.  Please be prepared to stay from 3pm to 5pm until all portions of your audition have been completed.

There is a very large ensemble necessary for this show in all facets (vocal, dance and simply presence).

Look forward to seeing everyone there!
